The project Detour Landscape develops locally specific audio walks, which, far removed from Matterhorn kitsch and postcard idyll, deal with the immediate rural and cultural landscape in front of one's own front door. A literary invitation for the ear to see well-known and unknown paths of our home walks with different eyes. Icon / Practical information
The detour on the Albis is accessible to you 24/7 all year round. Depending on the situation, you might be better off taking a headlamp with you. Good shoes, sun or rain protection, a fully charged mobile phone and your best headphones are usually sufficient.

Directions:
- You can reach Kappel am Albis from Zurich in one hour by postbus or train.
- If not otherwise possible, you can drive to the monastery by car and park it in the designated parking spaces.

Duration:
The detour takes around 1.5 hours. You're probably automatically walking at the right pace - a leisurely stroll.

Strollers and wheelchairs:
The whole way can easily be done with a stroller or with a sturdy wheelchair. The rough forest path roughly in the middle of the path can easily be bypassed on the left by simply walking along the road along the edge of the forest until you can also go right into the forest on the road.
